"Chimera"
is a new phase of Old Forest Grove. The neighborhood is located in
Southwest Bend, two blocks South of the Old Mill District on Brookswood
Blvd. The new phases feature a variety of sizes and styles of homes, a
planned community store, 30,000 sq ft of green space, walking trails, and a
small play park.
Blakely park and a trailhead leading to the Deschutes River Trail system
are right across the street from Chimera. "Voted" by Dogs and Kids as
the neighborhoods favorite places to be.

"Shevlin
Park Road Estates" is located in Southwest Bend, on
Shevlin Park road, across the street from the "Three Pines" and "Shevlin
Commons" neighborhoods. 31 lots range from 5,700 to 12,000 sq ft, many
with excellent mountain views. The area contains beautiful trees, rock
outcroppings and ridges that have been protected as part of the 50,000 sq ft
or green space common areas.
We are interested in speaking to potential purchasers of individual lots
or entire development phases as well as potential builder/developer partners.

To promote the creation of new "Old Style Neighborhoods" and the
construction of new "Old Style" and "historic reproduction" homes. This site is intended to be a
gathering place for information, discussion and the exchange of ideas about the Old
Style residential neighborhood, its homes and the impacts of this type of design on the
people who live in "Old Style Communities" and on the surrounding
community.
Skylight Homebuilders Company is a plan designer, builder and developer based in
Bend, Oregon. We hope to assist individual homeowners, builders,
and developers by providing a reproducible pattern for the creation of new neighborhoods
in the New Urbanist and Old Style format. We offer plans for sale; plan design
services; New Urbanist and Old Style Neighborhood development consulting services.
